That Place on Cameron

Our server was kind, the food was not good. Fries were undercooked and under seasoned, all mains were not great. The view would have been nice but the patio was booked for the evening even though there were 2 patio tables empty the entire time...we were there, so we spend our dinner inside near the rest of the staff who was not quiet about the goings on of the restaurant (including kitchen drama and customers). We had heard good things about this place and are so disappointed. Probably okay if you want a cold beer and a deep fried appetizer, but call ahead if you want the patio. Will absolutely not return. I recently tried the chicken wings with apple butter mesquite sauce on the side at this restaurant, and I was not disappointed. The portion of French fries was so large that my friend and I had to split them. She ordered the burger with sweet potato fries and couldn't stop raving about how delicious and juicy it was. She described it as one of the best freshly made burgers she has ever had. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside, and we both enjoyed them. I will definitely be returning to try the burger myself. The service at the restaurant was exceptional and very polite.

We had lunch with friends at this restaurant and were pleased with our experience. Although the staff still had some issues, the servers provided excellent and friendly service. We chose to sit indoors with a table overlooking the water when it was windy. The restaurant was a bit cool for us due to the A/C, so we will dress warmer next time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our friends ordered the large Julienne salads, my husband had the liver which was slightly overcooked, and I enjoyed the taco salad.

that was always our way after the ride. the first time in this summer. the personal was as usual very friendly. eating was a bit disappointing. Chicken caesar wrap had hardly a chicken and very little sauce and the mushroom caps were not abandoned in the half of the last...year definitiw and will see if it is just a change of the cook. Great location overlooking Cameron Lake. Two outdoor patios. Indoors has a great ambiance. The walls have quaint signage . The menu is extensive with great choices of appetizers, like escargot . Great choice of burgers and salads. Depending on the day, they have fresh perch...dinners and pastas.

Even though the restaurant offers a full menu for lunch and dinner, which is excellent, my favorite time to go is for breakfast on the weekends! The staff is always friendly, they serve a fantastic breakfast, and the view in the summer or winter is breathtaking. It's definitely worth it!

The club sandwiches and wings are particularly good. Service can be slow but is very friendly. Often not easy to get reservations due to the popularity of the restaurant and the view of the lake
