Pretty mediocre food and the portions are ridiculously tiny. The side of bread you pay extra for is only like two small cut slices. Charges you a few dollars for an extra side of a tiny handful of chips. The ceviche portion on the platter was so tiny you couldn't even use the fork it came with to pick it up. If you say it is not a meal and serves the purpose as being a small appetizer shareable then why is it not in the appetizer section, 105 dollars, and designed on the menu as being a full shareable meal. Hence this place serves tiny portions so you can buy more and be charged extra. Says its common for restaurants to charge you an extra 4%. I was in multiple states and ate at fine dining...
One of the best since before COVID and best place I have eaten at and overall dining experience since landing in South Carolina. This place was phenomenal because of the attention to detail. The aesthetic is beautiful, the music appropriate and not too loud in the background, all of the staff, amazing and nice people who are happy to be there and finally.....the culinary experience. Love the ambience, bright and inviting, not too dark like many places. They have an expansion cocktail menu but didn 't really enjoy the one I chose. The oysters we started with tasted fresh. The food is offered as small plates meant to be shared. Our group of three shared one large plate along with three small plates. Cute space that is intended for parties of 8 or less who are seafood fans. The option for non-seafood lovers are SLIM. DO NOT GO if you don't love seafood. We struggled to get a seat anywhere around 8pm on Friday night in this area. Most waits were an hour . So we put our name in and hoped for the best. The wait was about 20 mins (we were quoted 30-45). Sullivan Island's Best Longboard is simply a class act. It has roots in the U.S. Virgin Island, St. John, but with Charleston Appeal. You are greeted with a massive selection of beverages, some of which are distinctly Caribbean with flavors such as passion fruit. Seafood features Magnificent Prawns and local Oysters. We love the Longboard. Great addition to Sullivan?s Island. Humachi crudo, grilled avocado salad, the octopus, the cauliflower, the ceviche, and the chilled shrimp are our favorites. We?ve been three times, and it?s consistent every time in terms of service and deliciousness. We also always feel comfortable and safe dining in their outdoor space during the pandemic. Even indoors is kind of open air.
Ridiculously overpriced eg the larger seafood platter was $100 and the platter was really a not so that satisfying/ tasty appetizer despite guidance that it would feed 3 6). And a surprise “cash inconvenience charge” for paying with a credit card at 4.5%.absolutely ridiculous from start to end.
I just love this place. I wish they had more gluten free options in food but the drinks are spectacular. I also love the decor and the vibe. Very classy cute place to go on my favorite island. I have enjoyed both lunch and dinner there and it has been amazing.

Had a fabulous lunch with 4 girlfriends here. The cocktails were great and all the food was delicious. We were vacationing in the area and I wanted to go back and try more but time didn't allow. That's how good it was.
