This was the first time I came to this bar. It was open on Christmas Day so I thought it would be a nice experience. Their menu is filled with nearby brewery’s which I love. They also had interesting beers as well. They also carry Crown Royal which is rare in Chicago. It was a cute small spot to a late night drink with a friend or you can bring a date to. They are not country friendly. They did skip a few of my songs I paid to play. However, overall a nice spot to visit for a nice night out.
Great atmosphere and staff, with a wide variety of beer on tap, as well as the occasional seasonal brews. I've been coming here for the last five years. It is one, if not my favorite place to have a few beers, and grab a bite to eat. The food here is Great! Burgers, wings, grinders and don't forget about the Mac-N-Cheese squares! I no longer live relatively close, but I sure do try to stop by The Aberdeen Tap whenever I'm in the neighborhood.
The trip to the restaurant was worth it just for the mac and cheese squares appetizer. Make sure to ask for the garlic aioli as it may not come automatically. The beers on tap were great. We finished our meal with a delicious and tender short rib grinder. We will definitely be returning.
This is just a small detail, but Aberdeen 's dressing tonight totally wowed me! The Sweet Onion Dressing served with the Wedge Salad was creamy chunky like French Onion Dip. So tasty! And of course Slab Bacon never hurts! Not just your average 'bar food ' but upscale gourmet. Reserva una mesa ahora
The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. They had an awesome 80's soundtrack playing while I was there. The beer selection was fantastic. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
The food was excellent. The service was great! The music selection was really awesome too. I would totally go back for the food and the staff!
Good pub grub. Nice neighborhood hangout. No Guinness on tap, tho. Don't order Black Tan.
