I made a reservation for a Saturday night/Sunday morning through booking.com and confirmed via email, as I needed to stay for a new job starting on Sunday. However, when I arrived at the hotel, no one was there. I called and was directed to voicemail, where I left a message explaining the situation. Despite booking and paying online for a room that was supposedly available, I did not receive a response from the hotel. I was forced to find alternative accommodation, as the hotel did not fulfill their booking. I have requested a full refund through voicemail, as the hotel does not answer their phones. My friend and I visited this pub a few months ago and found that it was busy with only 2 toilets available. One of the toilets was occupied so we both used the other cubicle. However, when we returned to our table, we were asked to leave as the staff suspected us of doing drugs. We offered to be searched but they refused and simply kicked us out. We have attempted to return since then, but the landlady refuses to let us in without any tangible evidence against us. I have lived in Aldershot my whole life and have never been treated so poorly.
