The Alpine Chef - Reservar una mesa

Was directed to sit outside. Sat there for over one hour. They had almost no business, not surprising. The server came out one time, handed me my beer, never returned. Had to go inside to find someone to pay. Bartender told me, we don 't have many people sit outside. As if that 's a legitimate reason to not offer service. Won 't be returning and suggest you avoid this place. I 've written very few negative reviews, but this was so bad that everyone should be warned. If customers matter so little, why even stay in business?

We had dinner reservations for 5 at 7:30 pm. We got seated at 7:45 pm. Our order was taken around 8 pm, dinner was served at 9pm. Food was okay, calamari was bland, schnitzel was so so, sides were not good, sausage was the most decent. This was our first time here and we were looking forward with a good experience but we were all disappointed. I had a better experience in a much smaller german restaurant in downtown fred but since this place was more popular I expected a lot more.

They need a fresh set of eyes to see what needs to be cleaned, repaired, and refreshed. When a business starts showing too much wear and tear, it makes the customer wonder where else are they not spending money? staff was very friendly, but there was one particular manager that needs to go back and take her serve safe course again based on what I witnessed.

Had a fantastic lunch at this wonderful authentic German restaurant. The food was great, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun. I plan to make this a regular stop in Fredericksburg.

Every time we go as a family, we have great food and a great time! The staff, food, and experience is always a 10. Highly recommend for date night or a family outing!
