I always feel anxious about taking them out in case of tantrums etc as they are so little and obviously no concept of how to conform socially in that environment but knew it was a family friendly pub. If you want cold food served by uninterested staff, the. You won’t be disappointed. We went fir lunch , one ordered soup and a toasted ciabatta, the other hunters chicken off the Ember Classics menu. The soup was cool , the ciabatta similar. No spoon fir the soup, no knife for the butter, The hunters chicken came dry, no bbq sauce. When we took it to the waiter and enquired where the bbq sauce was, we were told it was “inside the chicken “ . Interesting, and of course it wasn’t. We’ve ordered from here a few times via Deliveroo and the first couple of times were absolutely fine and the food was great, the last 3 times have been awful! Mainly due to the orders being wrong, due to allergies the burger has been ordered plain which is clearly on the deliveroo receipt attached to the bag but every time the pub gets it wrong honestly it’s like they plaster extra sauce on so the person can’t eat it and end up just having chips! it’s also previously done this with others items so I wouldn’t recommend ordering through delivery Apps.
We arrived around 1:45pm on Sunday. The pub wasn’t too busy, which made the long wait of over 45 minutes for the food inexcusable. When the good was brought out it did not match the description on the menu with several items missing. When we queried this, some but not all, of the items were brought out in separate bowls and we did receive an apology. Having said that the food was well cooked and tasty. It was a shame that one of the waitresses was making an awful noise sliding chairs and tables across the floor, making everyone cringe!

A late afternoon/ very early evening meal. We ordered via the QR code on the table, although you can order at the bar if you prefer! Our meals took less than 20 minutes to be served. They were hot and enjoyable and in nice comfortable surroundings. There was a good choice of cask conditioned ales and other drinks available. Would definitely recommend it.
The restaurant has a delightful ambiance, affordable prices for delicious food, and very welcoming staff. I would highly recommend it for a relaxed family lunch. I haven't been there at night, but it looks like a great place to enjoy a night out in their lovely beer garden.
The food took a while to arrive, but Oliver, the young server, was doing a fantastic job. He was the only one working for a while and was extremely busy. It turned out to be his first night serving and he did an amazing job. The food was also delicious.
This was a super fun night, always great entertainment and the bar staff are lovely. We had some delay on food but the staff offered us a free round and Hannah saw to it amazingly. Great customer service and great environment.

Food was ok but it was freezing in the pub , couldn't wait to get home to get warm,had to eat with my jacket on,we asked if heating was on just got a smile, people near us also asked and didn't get an answer,
I highly recommend this bar as it offers excellent value for delicious food. The dishes were prepared perfectly and served promptly by the extremely polite staff.
