The Annex Cafe - Reserva de mesa

I arrived soon after this place opened at 8:30am for a pre-work midweek breakfast. I ordered at the counter quickly and chose a seat inside, although they have seats out the front and along the side wall too. I chose the sweet potato and zucchini fritter which comes with a crunchy lettuce salad, tomato salsa, and tomato relish. I added avocado too - they gave me a half which is very generous. The fritter was delicious and filling and the decaf coffee was great too. I'd definitely stop in if I was in the area again and could afford a late start.

This little cafe is tucked away on Waterloo street in Glenelg and is a local for us and never disappoints. With a wide variety of yummy healthy foods that also caters for the Vegans amongst us (but you dont have to be vegan to enjoy and there are other choices). As well as great food, and delicious desserts I think they actually make the very best almond milk flat white i have ever had (normal coffee drinkers are also very happy too). So do yourself a favour and head along to Annex Cafe.

Had breakfast here recently catching up with an old friend who I'd not seen for such a long time. We were not hurried at all which was lovely and the smashed avocado on sourdough was absolutely delicious. Washed it down with a refreshing raspberry and watermelon juice. Staff were friendly and service prompt. I'd definitely go back. Only complaint was the extra $4 added for a side of tomato. Just a tad pricey.

I went to the annex cafe for a relaxing lunch on a Monday and it was lovely, a great coffee, the hash brown and mushroom special with pesto toast was yum and although I'm not vegan, it was and it tasted good! Definitely going back :) also the staff emailed me my receipt which saves paper and won't get lost! Reserva una mesa ahora

Only rate 4 star for coffee alone because I did not try the lovely food offered. A hidden gem just off jetty street, very quiet for a mid morning coffee which was one of the best and by close to lunch time a packed little cafe.

Although I am not vegan, paleo, or pure vegetarian, I do enjoy the tasty treats at The Annexe Cafe. Their coffee is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good quality coffee, friendly and welcoming staff. Varieties of breakfast options , slices of cake and other stuff. Worth a visit if you are around in Glenelg

All the food and drinks were natural and had a health appeal. Really nice environment and the barista took care with the coffees, making great drinks.

This place makes a great coffee, and if I need a coffee at Glenelg when I am there (they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) I will seek to go there.
