The Apparatus Room

Food was great and atmosphere was fun. We were there for a brunch birthday celebration and were a part of 4. The service was mediocre at best. While we waited for table we ordered drinks at bar. The bartender wasn't very friendly. Our waitress was slow and when we ordered a second drink she must have forgotten to place the order because it took forever. They never bussed our table and we ordered a birthday dessert but she brought it out with all these plates still on the table. We ended up sliding all our dishes down to the open table next to us.

I'll just say that I wish restaurants should stick to 2 simple points. Good Food. Good Service. When food is created simply to be something different, without consideration to its taste it's generally not as good as it could be. When you wait for 20 min for your first glass of wine, when you've already finished the appetizer, that's a problem. When you finish your meal and wait 25 min for a tab, with empty wine, empty water and a mediocre meal, it tests the patience of most diners.

We come for the ambience, never disappointed. Drinks are great, a little pricey for what they are but the work they put into the interior design more than makes up for it. Great first date spot for drinks

Fantastic service and great brunch food options. The smoked salmon bagel is a treat- you won't need anything else all day! Super tasty and locally sourced bagels are the perfect base

Highly recommend! Absolutely wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. I recommend the tomato risotto, and the hot fudge cream puff was probably the best dessert I've ever had.
