We spent two days in this charming city, and on our last morning, we decided to have breakfast at Haymaker. The selection included a variety of pastries and three different drinks. We were excited to try The Arcadian. The food was delicious, although the portions were a bit on the smaller side. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite meet our expectations. We were seated upstairs, and perhaps it was due to our location, but it took 20 minutes for our drinks and even longer for our appetizers to arrive. On a positive note, the use of focaccia as table bread was a lovely touch. However, when we requested a second round of bread (three pieces), we were informed that there would be an extra charge. I had a delightful lunch here! The restaurant is charming and located right by the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; they even arranged for one of their dishes to be made vegan for me. It was really tasty, and my partner enjoyed her vegetarian meal as well. The coffee drinks were excellent, and my partner raved about the sticky rolls. If they add a vegan bungalow and more vegan options, we'll definitely be regulars!

I feel so fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant in Middlebury! The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the menu features a mix of familiar favorites along with some amazing specials. The cocktails are fantastic too! It's a real treat to have curbside pickup available, allowing you to enjoy a drink to go with your meal. Highly recommend!
I've been ordering from the takeout menu, and the process for ordering and payment is quick and simple. The food always arrives hot and full of flavor. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always greet you with a smile. I highly recommend the food, and the patio is now open for reservations—what more could you ask for?
Once again, all the food and wine were delightful. The black ink seafood pasta was exceptional, and the Caesar salad was superb. The burrata pasta had a slight kick and was incredibly tasty. The gnocchi in tomato sauce was topped with delicious beets.
