We had a table of 4 for our 50th anniversary. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and then seated promptly. We all ordered the Farm Stand salad and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. One person ordered the Crab Cakes and the rest of us ordered various steaks and frites. All of the meals were perfection and every steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Those steaks are also very delicious and tender. Everything was also seasoned perfectly, although the broccoli could have used a tad less salt. The price of the food does not match the quality. Although the ambiance is nice, you could probably have a better experience on the outdoor patio with less expensive food. The deep-fried halibut was dry and did not come with tartar sauce, and the kale dish it was served with lacked seasoning. Unfortunately, there were no oysters on the half shell available, which was what I was looking forward to the most. Our food took a very long time (over an hour), was not served hot, and was mediocre in flavor at best. My husband didn’t enjoy his ribeye and said it was bland. The S’mores Torte was burnt and tasted terrible. We mentioned this to our server and she made no effort to correct the issue. I was told my card didn’t work in their machine and I asked for a manager who might be able to enter the card manually. The server declined my request and said we would need a different card. My card worked fine in their gift shop machine right after dinner. We won’t be back soon. We were placed a room all by ourselves that felt like an isolation room No decorations, no nothing to suggest anything welcoming My black cod was mushy instead of form. My guests were not impressed by the quality or the price We had originally planned on eating outside but few attempts were made to warm the space up at all I am chalking it up to the remodeling and newly opened space as the service and rest of our stay was superb

Was looking forward to a great dining experience. Service was mediocre- witnessed two staff members in an argument over something. Food was not good for the price. Steak and halibut both lacked quality. Salad and mashed potatoes were good. Saw the tab, with no drinks, and couldn’t believe it. Keep in mind, 20% gratuity automatically included. Despite the view and ambiance, I would make other plans next time I visit.
We always have a great time at Alderbrook! We love returning whenever possible. Recently had a special birthday dinner for my husband there.
Delicious food with a fantastic view! Alderbrook is such a beautiful place to visit and our experience was a 10/10
