There was only one employee working, and she seemed unhappy to stop filling an order to assist me. When she asked what I needed, I replied that I was just browsing, and she responded with a rather unfriendly attitude while I looked around. After a moment, she pressed me to say what I was searching for. Disappointed by the selection, I decided to go with my go-to dessert: carrot cake.
Whoever thought coconut belonged on carrot cake was sadly mistaken; I felt like giving that person a piece of my mind. The edges of my slice were completely covered in coconut. The cake itself was dry, and the icing was excessively sweet for my liking. I'll definitely be passing on this place in the future.
I ordered a 1/2 sheet yellow cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate ganache icing for my son's birthday. I don't usually have high expectations for birthday cake, but here I was so impressed. First, the cake was decorated beautifully. And then the cake tasted delicious the cake was really fresh, sweet but not too sweet, with high quality chocolate icing. That chocolate flavor was really great. We got lots of compliments on the taste and people wanted to know where we bought the cake. From now on Bake Zone is our go to bakery.
The best cheesecake I've ever had! We have to bring this cheesecake to all our family gatherings. Everyone who tries it always asks for the name of the bakery. The bread and breakfast pastries are also fantastic.
