Booked a table for 5 for Mothering Sunday via email on the 5th of March 2022, which was confirmed. I was meeting up with friends who I hadn't seen in a long time and their disabled daughter. One of whom has recently suffered a recent bereavement. When we arrived there was no record of my booking leaving me to doubt, myself if I had ever made one. I found the email which was scrutinised in detail, but no reason or apology was given for not having a table in the restaurant. After a wait a table was set for us in the bar, which was not what we wanted but we settled for it, as it was unlikely that we could find anywhere else. Fabulous pub. Not over fussed about the Sky Sports in here tho ' its out of character for this olde worlde pub, but its popular and drags 'em in.
