We have just finished another A+ take away from Bangla Lounge. I have had a number of take always from them and each one has been excellent quality, great portion size and value for money on the Just Eat app with plenty of popadoms and salad etc included plus they've always been amazing enough to include some Bombay Potatoes which is an extra touch not found in other take aways in Salisbury. I've also dined in the restaurant a few times and again the food was A+, the staff are friendly and there's a really incredible variety on the menu. Yes it would be easier if they served alcohol but there's a shop opposite the restaurant that has a large range of drinks for all tastes. Highly recommended...
I placed an order through Just Eat and was informed that it would be delivered by 8:30pm. However, when 8:30pm passed and there was no sign of my order, I waited a bit longer, thinking they might be busy. At 9:00pm, I called the restaurant only to be told that my order had been delivered over an hour ago and questioned why I was calling so late. It was clear that they had delivered to the wrong address, yet they refused to acknowledge their mistake and instead accused me of lying. The way they spoke to me on the phone was incredibly rude. I will never order from here again and would not even give them a single star if I could.
We visit this restaurant 7 or 8 times a year. The food is excellent, with plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians, and the staff are friendly. Sometimes the food can take a bit longer to arrive, but with the option to bring your own drink and a fantastic atmosphere, it's never been a problem for us! Definitely worth a visit, just make sure to make a reservation on weekends!
AVOID! I ordered a Takeaway from them for the first time, advised 1 hour 15 minute wait. Food arrives an hour and 40 minutes later and freezing cold. Was told over the phone the best he can do is send the food out again, I said not to bother as I am not waiting another hour and 40 minutes as it was 21:30pm by the time we got the order in the first place. Absolute joke!
Ordered for first time from here, food arrived cold and undercooked. Chicken was pink all the way through. Both meals were disgusting. Phoned the restraint to be told the chicken is cooked and has all been cooked through out the day and he had no other complaints so it was fine and nothing he could do. STAY AWAY from here
Our group of 17 hungry big grazers enjoyed it very much ...i had the prawn puree to start and chicken tikka biryani which was delish. Like that you can bring your own beverage which keeps the cost down ...staff friendly ...mains were a little slow at coming out but it was busy tbf . Will be going back for sure .
