The last time we had a meal at the Barking Dog was several years ago, and it was good! This time round, it was disappointing! To order your meal, you scan the QR code on your table to view the menu on your phone, and your table number is connected to your order (QR code . However when it came to our meals being served, something went wrong! We were a group of four, two of our meals were served to another table (the waiter informed of this a few minutes after giving the two meals to the other table , and the two remaining meals were served at different times. We then we had to wait another 30-40 minutes for the two other meals to be prepared again! So we were all eating at different times! We...

I've eaten here a handful of times since I moved into the area in 2012. I thought I'd give it a go again this year after the renovations. Service has always been terrible for me at this pub, and it did not disappoint this time. We came for dinner and walked through to the bistro at the back. There was one big group there with their orders being taken by one server so we waited to be shown to our seats. And we were kept waiting. No acknowledgement from the server or any other staff at all. The server did however manage to squeeze out time to gruffly bark instructions to the delivery driver who turned up after us. We decided to serve ourselves and took a table but still no service from staff....

I get it.. We all have days where we just cannot be bothered or just one too many things has gotten under our skin (especially in hospitality). Which is why I make an effort to be kind to the person serving me. However, when you get treated like an inconvenience two visits in a row, the feeling sticks. Would've like to try the food but honestly... I felt like I was going to burden asking for the menu... in a restaurant... My dad and I agreed, we probably won't be back.

Went for dinner with my family and their partners. What a disappointment it was. we got put in an alcove type room with a draught that was caused by a door that didn't fit properly and made it extremely cold. the room had a mirror that had filthy smears all over it and the food was very below average. We will never go there again.

Had a very nice dinner. Got a good range of pizza and parmas, at a really good price. Food came out quickly and it was beautiful made. Also love the art work on the walls.
