The Barn At Moor Hall

We visited the Barn at Moor Hall for a family Christmas meal and, having been there before, we still adore the ambiance of the barn. The food was outstanding—both beautifully presented and delicious, with excellent service. As always, the front-of-house staff took great care of us. Watching the kitchen was a delightful experience, showcasing a calm and creative atmosphere. The Christmas decorations contributed to a warm, inviting dining experience. I enjoyed a laid-back Friday lunch at the Barn last week, and it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. The flavors were amazing, the brasserie was beautifully decorated, and the wine list was short but reasonably priced. This place has quickly become our favorite local restaurant (at least for lunch!). I'm excited to try the main restaurant soon.

I've been visiting Barn since it first opened, but lately, they've revamped the menu to feature much richer dishes, similar to what you'd find at Moor Hall, but offered in a traditional starter and main course format. I really miss the bistro-style food they used to serve. Since the menu change, I find it to be quite pricey for what you get.

last week had a casual lunch in the barn. one of the best culinary experiences we had in a long time. amazing aromen, really well ordered brasserie and a beautiful concise list of cheap weeping. this place has now become our favorite restaurant over night (good, over midday anyway). I look forward to trying the main restaurant soon.

I've been visiting Barn since it opened, but recently they revamped the menu to offer a more upscale selection, somewhat reminiscent of Moor Hall, but focusing on starters and main courses. eating was good, a lille expensive, but we knew that no problem, but eating was ruined by the fact that we were so cold. they said that the boiler does not work, but in this case they should have provided heating

This is a fantastic place to stop for lunch while driving north to Glasgow. The three-course lunch was delicious, the service was friendly and professional, and overall, it offered excellent value. Thank you!

Food was good, a Lille pricey but we knew that so no problem but the meal was ruined by the fact that we were so cold. They said the boiler wasn’t working but in that case they should have provided heaters

Service at start was poor. Waited for water for quite a while. It then improved once we ordered wine. Food, simply superb
