A beautiful but dated hotel in a lovely setting, but… where to start? Our bed clearly hadn’t had clean sheets put on as there was heart shaped confetti on the sheet as well as on the floor and the stairs and landing from reception hadn’t seen a vacuum in a long time. In the restaurant I ordered Creamy Garlic Field Mushrooms. The staff brought out the wrong meals at first but when mine arrived it was an awful inedible mess. Tough mushrooms on sloppy oily bread. The only positive aspect overall was the friendly helpfulness of the staff couldn’t fault them at all. I left a comment sheet in our room as requested but nobody has been in touch. Very disappointing.
had our high time here on May 27, 2017 and it was fantastic as a dream. the staff went beyond and beyond. the room was brilliant, it looked better, then I could have imagined myself. karen and jayne thought the high-time coordinators of everything they might want. our surprise dusts were beautiful and I knew nothing about them until my chauffeur took us around the back and it slipped. the eating was amazing and we all have a teller full. Overall, we could not have chosen a better place to keep our high-time reception, I would recommend to everyone to consider it. many thanks to all management and employees who make them an amazing job xx
Well where do I start!! My husband and I got married 3 days ago on the 22nd December 2017! We are still on cloud 9! Every single thing was perfect and we couldn't fault any of it! Every member of staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for you! The food was amazing, the venue was just perfect and we really couldn't say a bad thing about the whole experience. From the planning to the actual day, Briars Hall were just phenomenal and we would highly recommend one getting married there! We only wish we could do it all over again!! Thank you just isn't enough to show our gratitude and appreciation! Just a truly amazing day! Xxxxx
we went on Fathers day, only booked quite late.. that didn't matter. the staff were excellent, really attentive and helpful all the way through. there were seven of us with 2 young ones. the food was very good and reasonable for the quality. even when i realised i ordered the wrong thing, as it was brought to the table!! it was changed with no fuss and not much of a wait which was great.. a lovely and relaxing few hours on a very hot afternoon...and a play area for the children to have a run around afterwards which was nice..
We celebrated our anniversary on Saturday evening- 30 years and we were in the same room!l The staff were so helpful from booking, all the preparations and on the day. Special mention to Richie who was a fab party coordinator! The buffet was excellent too. We had a marvellous time thank you
I was there for a family wedding, briars hall has all dressed crates! the room for the high-time celebrations was nice, eating fantastic and the best of all staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. the room we were in was excellent. would recommend to everyone!
