Having family in Bavaria, I can confidently say that this restaurant offers truly authentic German cuisine. They feature a variety of imported Paulaner beers, which is the quintessential German beer brand, along with all the classic dishes you would expect. The menu is extensive and includes some interesting seafood specialties as well. There is also a generous dessert menu. A very good German restaurant! We ordered the pork dish and the Bavarian plate, both of which were part of the day's specials. The pork was fantastic, especially topped with crispy fried onions. The Bavarian plate was also delightful, featuring chicken cordon bleu, sausage, and brisket. We had the option to choose four sides, so we selected creamy corn, green beans, glazed carrots, and zucchini, all of which were excellent! The dessert was enjoyable as well. The service was quite good. We recommend calling ahead to make a reservation.

The food was excellent, with generous portions and reasonable prices, and the side dishes were served family-style. You definitely won't leave hungry! We sat upstairs, where the atmosphere was lovely and the service was outstanding. My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting a bit, as it was somewhat dim and made it difficult to see the menu and the delicious food when it arrived at our table. Perhaps adding some lights could help.

I drive from Richmond just to eat here. I love this place. It is best to make reservations. My fried and I sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very cozy, like a German pub. The cost is very reasonable, particularly given such large servings, and the staff is very friendly. Also, a nice selection of German beers that aren’t commonly available in restaurants. Quite a gem!

This restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience. The schnitzels are their specialty and are definitely worth trying. While the building itself is somewhat outdated, the atmosphere inside instantly transports you to Germany. The service is also very friendly.

The service was excellent. The food portions were ridiculously large. The food was nice, but too Americanized...didn't have the depth of flavor I was accustomed to living in Germany for 13 years.

Food and service was amazing. The location is a small. Small like elbow to elbow but it made the date more intimate. Will go again

Great fan of German food and some solid beers and the Jäger Schintzel was pretty elite too.
