The Beandock - Reserva de mesa

A small little café in an historical building at the waterfront. Two tables inside. 5 kind of cookies and 5 kind of slices, all looked great and we tasted two kind of cookies and they were good. The coffee was good too, lots of foam, nice and fluffy. The staff was very friendly. It was really my kind of coffee shop. The café is also a gift shop, so the decoration is nice too. I would go back, but I would order a latte next time because the cappuccino was kind of small. I have to get used to the fact that coffees are different again here in Canada. ( as I am from New Zealand )

Let's start last. The desert was a decadent heart stopping home made brownie. Unbelievable. Lunch itself was pretty good too. My wife says she had the best Reuben ever. My egg wrap tasted good but alas concealed a toothpick that I almost swallowed. Still, I enjoyed lunch. The decor is quirky. The prices very reasonable. Be sure to stop in during your drive from Halifax to Yarmouth.

Whether you want a quick lunch or a delicious coffee, you should stop here and enjoy. Situated on historic Dock Street, this little café is a local favourite. Come by and taste the freshly baked cookies in the morning or grab a coffee and pose for a selfie in the Big Red Chair outside. There are also some charming items for sale as well. The service is friendly and efficient.

We stopped in Shelburne to visit the beautiful, historic waterfront dating from 1783. We stumbled upon this amazing little cafe in one of the buildings and were pleased to find that we could get lattes, which were perfect. The sweet treats and savoury menu looked wonderful, although as in the late afternoon, we opted for ice cream and were not disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had breakfast here. There is a limited menu but the food was well prepared and came to us quickly. The bathroom is SO tiny that you'd have to step out to change your mind. Gluten free options too which is always nice to find. Well worth a stop for a bite to eat.

The Bacon Scallop wrap is our favorite. Cooked to perfection and always a taste treat we allow ourselves as a special reward for ourselves. Their apres-wrap treats are a nice bonus too. Yes Cookies!
