The Beaufort Pub Dining

We had Christmas Day lunch at this restaurant, which is conveniently located a short walk from our friends' home. We weren't sure what to expect from the modern building in a new town, but we were pleasantly surprised! The experience was superb from beginning to end, with excellent staff, delicious food, a great atmosphere, and beautiful gardens outside. We were seated at a family-sized table and welcomed with a glass of prosecco, as well as a friendly greeting from the chef at the window. Our servers, McKenzie and our Northern Irish lady, were both lovely. The food and wines were outstanding, and we even chose a Georgian orange wine as we had recently visited Georgia on a wine tour. Staff, food, atmosphere, outside eggie plot gardens... all superb! We were shown to a family size table, greeted with a glass of prosecco a huge hi! from the chef at the window. Our lovely Lithuanian blonde lady McKenzie our Northern Irish server were both gorgeous. As was the food and wines. We chose a Georgian orange wine (among others) as we'd visited Georgia done a wine tour. My duck was superb. And I loved the potatoes boulangere. Mum went mad for the Yorkshires. All delicious, plentiful we were spoilt. Veggie/ vegans well cate...
