"Tonight was my son's 16th birthday and we had a friendly welcome at the restaurant. Our table was ready with no issues. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind. Although we can't remember our waiter's name, she provided excellent service and made our meal very enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant."

I used to visit the Harvester a lot, but recently I've had some bad experiences and heard negative reports about previously good ones, so it was with some intrepidation that we visited this one. We had been previously, but were concerned that it might have gone downhill like others. However, I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. My only gripe was the very busy car park. It is used by visitors to the adjacent park, so you can have trouble parking and then go into the restaurant to find it half empty. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We weren't acknowledged straight away, although were soon found a table. The service was fairly quick and the food of good quality. The salad bar was plentiful, fresh and clean. The surroundings and toilets were also clean and tidy. I'd certainly recommend this Harvester, especially if you need to restore your faith in this chain, which appears to be on a downward trend right now.

The restaurant is decent and not too expensive, especially if you have a blue light card. They offer some kid-friendly vegan options, but their vegan desserts could be improved as they currently only offer vanilla ice cream with sauce. It's a good option for when you don't feel like cooking, but not a place for special occasions. My son enjoys the burgers, but they only have a non-vegan option on the kids menu and do not allow substitutions. The service is usually okay, although there was one instance where our food took over an hour and was overcooked, and they did not address the issue. It is preferred to tip in cash as it benefits the staff who are on minimum wage.
Whent there tonight for my son's birthday! Friendly welcome and had my table ready with no problems! Food was beautiful and tasty and the staff our the loveliest bunch of people! Unfortunately cannot remember our waitresses name but she was amazing tonight and outstanding service! She made our meal enjoyable.Highly recommended
