The Belvedere Room

Spoiler notification: Long post and many pictures by FARMER'S DAUGHTER SUITE. Farmer's daughter Suite definitely doesn't have enough pictures on the Interwebs... so I will do a favor to everyone and post them all... The staff was GREAT, very accommodating, detailed, and with the 2 small questions we had, they offered a voluntary comp. The view from the room is 2 ways with all Bakersfield downtown below. Fun Fact: The shower is double-sided and the bathtub outlet comes from the ceiling! The only thing I would correct is if we jumped for one of the top suites, I would like to have a concierge to bring our luggage to our room. But very small question AND 1. World problems. It was an amazing experience overall!

I'm not a big fan of this place. The beds are super soft, and I am allergic to the lower leaves / Pillows / Pillowtop. The rooms are very small. I don't like the park situation. My aunt's room had no heat in a cold night, and the sink was not empty. At least they gave us back for a room. It's visually appealing at the hotel, but overall I'll probably go somewhere else next time.

The parking service is $15 for the night, the reception is friendly and its very easy to check-in. There is a restaurant at the entrance of the hotel and the hallway to the rooms are alittle small but looks quite general and clean, the standard room is very nice and it is quite quiet. It's also walking to Fox Theater.

We had some minor issues which Chris the night manager quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Very clean and quiet, nicely renovated Staff is very eager to please. We recommend the Padre Inn to all

Loves the hotel. They served delicious soft pulps, but are no longer on the menu. I almost pulled a star for that. We are from LA and this hotel is one of our excursion hotels.
