The Bengal Bear - Reserva de mesa

My partner Katie) were at this restaurant last night. Katie booked a table via Facebook for 7pm. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed in a lovely friendly manner. We were shown to a table for two in Bay window, with a view down Box high street. It is a BYO here and the waiting staff were helpful in assisting in opening the wine we bought. The decor in the restaurant is modern, clean but with a cosy feel. The menu had a good choice of meals to choose from. I must say the Chicken Madras I had was possibly the best I've ever had. I'm not sure the comment section can capture how much my family enjoyed our meal this evening! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness from the staff, which helped us feel at ease right away—something that's incredibly important when dining out with young children. As for the food, our waiter was wonderful, and the dishes arrived promptly. Each of the six different main courses we tried was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The sides were equally tasty! We truly couldn't be happier with our experience at The Bengal Bear tonight!

I spent a few days in Bath, and a friend recommended this restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine. It's a fantastic little place that’s just a short drive from the city center. Despite being quite busy, the service was impressively fast, and the food was served hot and delicious. The visit was definitely worth it, and I will definitely be back. The staff and owners were very friendly; I had a nice chat with them, and they suggested a few places to visit before I left Bath. There’s also a small parking area right next to the restaurant.

The service for groups was awful, which is unfortunate because it has deterred many locals from coming back. Moonlight in Corsham is a much better option. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
