The Birch Tree - Reserva de mesa

Can't really fault this pub at all. A friendly welcome as soon as we set foot in the bar. Really smart looking interior. Good beer selection. The children enjoyed their food, especially the chicken nuggets! And my wife and I thought the three sharing dishes we had were superb. Decent play area which kept the children amused, despite the rain, so we could have some peace and quiet, which was much appreciated! We liked it so much we're planning on returning next Sat with the In-laws.

very friendly staff, I was served by leo. how people who read my reviews know that hygiene is on top of my list in everyone eating and this place was right up there! the kitchen staff and cleaning staff at the birkenbaum really kept this place impeccable. I've seen a lot more recent kitchens that didn't have this cleanliness. the food was presented beautifully. the bar and toilet area were also immaculately clean as they can see from the photos. this place gets a big thumb of

Went for a meal with family, have used the birch many times this year but could not believe the size of the adult meals it was like having a kids meal, very poor. The service was good as always restaurant was very clean it was just the size of the meals which was a major concern, would I go again probably not so disappointed. It was not value for money.

We had a last-minute craving for a nice Sunday lunch and stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant. It truly lived up to its reputation as a great local pub with fantastic atmosphere and service. A great pub with a lovely atmosphere. We had the sharing menu with an extra side dish of loaded fries. The portions were good and food was served quickly, was hot and tasty. Customer service was great. We visited on a busy Friday night, there was a great atmosphere, a mixture of ages and everyone seemed really friendly. Will definitely return

We went to this pub for a Sunday dinner with our family and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were professional and friendly. The food was incredible, with generous portions, and the desserts were delicious. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

A warm welcome, a busy Sunday pub with no tables but the lovely couple who run it squeezed us and even apologised for the table not being great… it was perfect! We had to buy them a drink to say thank you for such fab care and service and food! WOW what a feast!

we took my mother up to birthday. the young lad kelsey was very friendly during our meal. eating was nice as usual. nothing was too much annoyed for him thank my mother loved the Biscoff sunshade, she said she wouldn't eat it all. she did. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a great time at the restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The variety of beers was also impressive. The atmosphere at the pub was laid-back and welcoming. We are definitely planning to return.

a bit of a change from our normal drink area very nice pub nice staff very friendly and helpful we had also eat that was also very nice so that we returned to this pub very soon. great night.
