The Black Trumpet Bistro Tapas Wine

Good food. But service is usually average to below average. My pet peeve is that they would force bring out a tray of fake desserts pressuring us to order it when we were celebrating birthdays. It's known that you guys provide a little birthday dessert with a candle. So when we said no ordering dessert it would be nice for you to just save us from the whole ordeal of bringing out that whole tray of desserts. It's always very awkward, forceful and rude because we had said no. We just wanted that complimentary dessert. One time we gave in and chose one dessert from your tray and it was very nasty anyway.

Upon entering we were greeted by Daniel who was very professional friendly and was quick to seat us. We sat at the bar which was clean and were given great service by Leeah who was very attentive and friendly. We had the clams mussels, filet carpaccio, and the fries all were very good. All of the staff that we came in contact with were all happy friendly and obviously like working at Black Trumpet GOOD JOB BY THE STAFF WE WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK

Our host, Daniel, was wonderful. He greeted us and called us by our name when seating us. He recommended several tasty appetizers. Chicken croquettes were fantastic, as well as the Lamb shank. Our waitress and manager were very attentive. Wonderful meal and service!! Great ambience. We will be back again! You must visit this gem- the Best Mediterranean restaurant in HB!!

Definitely worth going there. It surpassed my expectations and the menu packs a lit of creativity with a twist to some familiar recipes that is very tasty

Bad service. Over priced. Very legalistic. Happy hour is not too happy. Food not included.
