Recently, I’ve been getting coffee that’s been too watery, probably due to the warm winter weather. Today, I asked for "easy on the ice," and while I got an "okay" in response, I still ended up with a cup that had more ice than coffee. I was the second customer in the shop and only ordered coffee, yet my drink had a full scoop of ice. My current cup is filled with ice again, just like yesterday’s. I probably won't be returning for a while. To make matters worse, another staff member tried to charge me again for the coffee I was already waiting on. Wow! Everything here is absolutely delicious! The gentleman working here is really kind. My lox city sandwich is fantastic! It's my first time trying a lox bagel, and I've always wanted to experience this. Mmm!!! Thank you! Everything is perfect. I've been craving a chocolate croissant for a week, and this one really hits the spot. I will definitely be back for more of these delightful treats. Next time, I plan to try the various bagels and cream cheese options. Thank you so much for brightening my day! I've been feeling a bit down all week, and this really lifted my spirits. This place continues to have some of the best bagels with the nicest staff in all of OC especially for being in Huntington! They have a great selection of bagels with every item being fresh to order. They also have an extensive selection of breakfast bagels, sandwiches, and smoothies. This is a MUST TRY if you are looking for a bagel on the way to the beach! My recommendation is the cinnamon sugar bagel lightly toasted with walnut raisin or cinnamon raisin cream cheese. do be careful their toaster is hot so lean on the lighter side if you don't like it burnt when ordering.
1st time in because the coffee place I was going to go to was temp. closed. I had the turkey bacon sandwich on a cheese bagel. The sandwich was good. It really sucked that the bacon was burnt! They offer tapito, in jars and packets, so I was able to get past the burnt flavor with tapotio. The taro blended drink was on point! Creamy taro goodness! I remember when they 1st opened must have been 2013. My coworker introduced me too a simple strawberry n cream cheese bagel, so i decided to go in myself explore the menu. I originally got the turkey bacon on Dutch crunch bread, with avocado n everything it comes with. Till this day its still great. Plus it's nice to have the original staff know not only your name, but your order when stopping by or even calling it in. Everything on their menu is good. Lox city.
The bagels here are soft and white, definitely not the classic New York style. The bacon and egg sandwiches are so dry that they're almost inedible. However, their chive and veggie cream cheeses taste homemade and are fantastic. The real highlight, though, is the Vietnamese coffee, which is what keeps me coming back.
Best bagels in Huntington Beach! My family visits this place regularly, and we absolutely love it! I highly recommend trying the spinach bagel and their various bagel sandwiches. They also offer a delicious selection of fresh juices and smoothies that are both amazing and refreshing!
