This place has the coolest vibe. South American/Caribbean/Californian inspired. Love the colours and the fit out and the furniture. I'm glad they've finally done something with this space behind the garden. The staff were very friendly, and someone who seemed to be the manager asked me how everything was. I told him everything was great, because I was in a hurry and mostly it was great, except for a couple things to do with the food. I ordered a Cuban pork sandwich, and it was delicious and very filling. It came with yuca chips, which were also deliciously crunchy and loaded with lots of spices. The sauce that came with the chips looked and tasted like tartare sauce with extra herbs. I tried...
I went there a couple of weekends ago, after my friends told me about the amazing cocktails. The setting, atmosphere, bar and over all presentation of the place was amazing. However when your bartenders are rude, arrogant and malicious- it doesn't matter how nice the place is, it ruins the experience. The bartender called Gino ruined our night. He was so rude to me, and then to my friends also. My friend asked for a cocktail listed and he said they had run out of some of the ingredients to make it which was fine. We asked him if it was possible to make similar one and he dropped all the stuff he was holding, made a big fuss like we were waisting his time, and spoke to use like we were retard...

The layout and vibe of the place is awesome. Feels like your on holiday, on a hot summers day it's the perfect place. However, if your ordering beer this is the case, at least you know what you're getting... I ordered a jug of Sangria (as you do in a South American themed place). At best it was half filled with ice and tasted like powerade or strawberry cordial, $35 later, absolute disgrace. $10 for nachos and guac and salsa, well, I could've gone to Coles and spent half that and presented it better... Layout and concept is really cool. Good place to meet for a relaxed drink with friends. Jugs were nice but not very strong. Guacamole was not mashed properly, had a big slice of avocado in it and not particularly tasty, salmon ceviche had a strange taste and the quesadillas were tiny. The best part were the tortilla chips.... Would go again but just for drinks - mainly for the atmosphere.
Cool spot to meet friends. It was busy, but the food came out quick. Tapas style food was awesome and pretty cheap. Didn't try the cocktails. Only thing to improve was that they need more seating/tables, a few people were coming in a bit lost as they couldn't find a spot. Would eat here again, no more seedy leedy !
Came here a few days after it had opened, got there at opening time so the place was pretty empty but as I looked around I realised how cool the vibe would be if it were packed out (also going down Memory Lane of cage dancing at the old Leedy). If you want a good wine always get the tempranillo ????
Had a really really long wait for some corn chips and guacamole and some very average corn fritters. Had to ask several times before we finally got them.
