What a charming place just off the square in downtown Murfreesboro! The atmosphere is casual, and the customer service is excellent. We tried the chicken salad croissant, and it was absolutely delicious. They offer reasonably priced daily specials along with a standard menu. One particularly thoughtful feature is the option to rent a locker, which is great since the courthouse across the street doesn’t allow bags or purses. This makes it a very convenient spot to store your belongings, especially if you take a while to walk back to your car. Blue Porch delivered a delightful and diverse lunch for our group of ten during a recent staff retreat. We enjoyed it so much that we chose to come back the following day to sample more of the menu! Our favorites included the Legal Aid salad (now featuring perfectly ripe peaches for the season), the Harry Stone (you don’t need to be a Night Court fan to appreciate this delicious offering), and the Wapner sandwiches. One of our team members had a food allergy, and Cynthia’s attentive response won her a lifelong fan. I know I’ll be visiting weekly from now on!
