The Boat Inn - Reserva de mesa

It was our first time visiting, we walked along the riverbank to get there, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to take our small assistance dog in with us. It's an old building with lots original features and very clean. The prices are very reasonable, we had a little problem with my jacket potato, but it was quickly rectified and an offer of a free dessert was made...had we not all been on a diet, we would have definitely taken them up on it! We will definitely be visiting again.

We went out with some friends for a meal, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely beautiful, and the portions were generous. Huge compliments to the chef! We were also served by the kindest staff. We love coming here for the excellent service and the amazing food—definitely worth a visit!

We held our annual presentation at this venue for the first time this weekend, and we can't recommend it highly enough! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and they went above and beyond to make our event special. We'll definitely be back. Many thanks to DC’s Riding Club!

First time l have visited the Boat, staff were nice, l went with work colleagues to attend a wake, the area that was used was spacious, airy and light and the buffet that was provided was excellent, intend to go there and have some food there with my family Reserva una mesa ahora

I've noticed some reviews claim the food isn't good, but I think that's an overreaction. The offerings are exactly what you'd expect from a pub. As I mentioned, it's a pub, not a Michelin-starred restaurant! Keep up the great work, team! You’re doing well!

Two of us went last night and had a rump steak and pulled pork which were great portions, arrived quickly, cooked to perfection and served beautifully. The staff were excellent, very warm and friendly and we can't wait to return :

Had lunch with a group of about 20, had just called in after a walk around St Aidens. Lunch served without much of a wait. Made very welcome by staff. Lunch enjoyed by all. Would call again if in area and definitely recommend.

Great pub in a great location..! Large safe playing area for the kids..!! And Dog friendly..! Good food at a reasonable price
