This spacious micro-pub is quite secluded, offering a peaceful atmosphere with no music or distractions—just great company and an excellent selection of beers. If you're looking for a place to have a conversation while enjoying a quality pint, this is the spot. Peter, the owner, is knowledgeable about ales and is always willing to help.
Peter at the Bookmakers, Heysham has created the best micro pub I have ever visited. Brilliant selection of ales and ciders. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere, my favourite pub in the area. Highly recommend a visit here.

Great little pub, lots of real ale to try out. First visit and was made to feel like I was part of the furniture. Dogs allowed. Definitely going back.
