We came to the brassmill for a dinner and let’s just say this was the best meal out in a very long time. Alan, our waiter, was absolutely amazing and very attentive. He was sure to make sure we were happy with everything we ordered and gave us fabulous customer service. Our food was exquisite and really hit the spot. I had the lamb shank which was super tender and delicious and my partner had the salmon fish cakes which were packed full of flavour and gorgeous. Came in for lunch on a Sunday. Car park is a bit small for the size of the pub, but not too bad. Service was good and the staff friendly, reasonable selection of drinks available and the food was served quickly. The Sunday roast was a good sized portion and the veg was tasty, the meat was a little dry but not too bad. I have come here a few times before on this occasion our waiter who I've not seen before, Allen, was very attentive and a great comedian.
