I had a great experience with the food at this restaurant, but my experience was soured by the service. My girlfriend and I ordered takeout and decided to have a drink while we waited. We asked the host if we could sit at the bar, but there was no room so we were seated at a table instead. After 30 minutes, our food arrived along with our bill which included an "AUTO GRATUITY" of 18% of the total bill, including the food we had ordered for takeaway. While I am always happy to tip, I found it unreasonable that the auto tip was more than the cost of the two drinks we had ordered. Great spot right on the corner on the way to the Charlestown breachway! We went last night for dinner and it was a great evening. We did not have a reservation but they seated us in a cozy spot outside. My girlfriend's original drink was a bit bitter to her liking, and our server graciously exhanged it for her for a sweeter one. The food was phenomenal, highly recommend their hot lobster roll!!! Parking: The lot was pretty full when we got there but we were able to find a spot.

The food and drinks at this restaurant were delicious! We each ordered two of their tasty cocktails, with the Rum Runner being our favorite - smooth, fruity, and topped with a slice of orange. Another highlight was the tuna appetizer, which had a fresh taste and delicious sauce with scallions. The calamari was also good, perfectly fried and not rubbery. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and soaking in the nice evening. Overall, we give the food a 5-star rating.

Tried it on the Friday of labor day weekend. Made a 7 30 res for indoors but when we arrived they have live music and it was a little louder than we wanted so we asked for the outdoor patio and they accommodated that. Food was great. Both of us had the Mahi Mahi. Service was really good as well. Waitress was busy but always upbeat and attentive. Would definitely return. Service: Dine in Reserva una mesa ahora

First time at the Breachway Grill though we've been coming to Charlestown for a number of years. Superlative all the way around; Marco, our server was friendly and attentive, the mashed potatoes were truly heavenly and the fish was to write home about. We'll be back!
