The Brick Tavern

Food is mediocre. Chicken wrap was dry because they give you the dressing on the side instead of mixing it with all the goodies inside. Sweet potato fries were awful. But the worst part of this visit was that the bartender added shots to my tab, probably thinking I wouldn't notice. However, not one person in my group of 7 ordered any shots. Be sure to bring cash as they don't allow you to add tips when paying by card. ?

Ignore The Brick Tavern at your own peril. Chef Phil has hand crafted the most delicious menu I have ever seen in a tavern like this. You could easily pay twice as much for food half as good here in the Chicagoland area and still be happy; but you will never find anything like the food created by Chef Phil at The Brick Tavern. Come for the phenomenal food, and stay because The Brick Tavern is packed with friendly faces.

As long as the bartenders are on the clock, they should not be drinking with the customers, maybe then they would remember to put your food order in! Love you Phil, but we won't be back.
