The Broadway Bar and Grill

Even though I now live in Florida, whenever I'm back in NJ, I make it a point to stop by the Broadway Bar and grill. I have been coming to this location for at least 45 years since it was originally Neilleys Long Bar. Now granted, I was only 5 years old at the time, but that didn't stop my father from loading up my big wheel and telling me to be careful when playing in the parking lot. Fsst forward from 1978 to 2023.... I brought my 15 year son in after a good day on the Norma K III. We sat at the bar mid week around 3pm. We had a great burger but before it was over, I was spoken to regarding a child sitting at the bar. I apologized for the misjudgement and withheld the story of my childhood...

Nice place and the waiter brooks was really nice and efficient. Unfortunately not really kid friendly. I guess some people forget that they were also kids one day
