"I find a somewhat American Restaurant in Germany is hard. But we found one and it was amazing!. My husband had the steak and I have the fish and both dishes were wonderful. The restaurant is cozy, not very big but just enough. The ambiance is very New York which I loved."

We decided to visit Bronx Bar due to all of the great photos we have seen on Facebook of the different dishes they have available. There were four of us so we all tried different items. The Beet Carpaccio Salad, Tuna Tartar, and Beef Tataki were all great starters. I enjoyed the Tuna Burger with sweet potato fries as well. Other dishes that we enjoyed were the pulled BBQ Burger, Mushroom Tortellini and Lamb Shank with mashed potatoes. We were disappointed by the atmosphere and the service though. As others have commented, the people working at Bronx Bar don't seem happy to be serving you at all. They take your order and bring you food, nothing else. The bar area looks cool and has a kind of Bronx feel (cool Lou Reed Art) but then you are brought food on Oma's mixed china and the tables are decorated with cheap little candle lights that look like they came from Xenos or Tedi. We enjoyed the food very much but in a city like Düsseldorf, you must deliver the entire package for a return customers.

Cool restaurant with a great menu, recommend the tuna burguer and the carpaccio, good prices for an outstanding quality of the food. Very helpful and friendly staff, could be because it was packed, but it took a little long for the dishes to come out, nothing a couple of beers couldn't fix!Definately a must either for a business or holiday dinner.I will come back for sure on my next trip to the city

First you should know that this place is in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth the trip. While we didn't know they had food the drink selection is quite outstanding. Some excellent Reislings, but more important are the shots. A must try is the apple pie. The owner sat down with us and was very cordial, since I don't think they gets many tourists.

I visited this great place with my boyfriend on a Sunday as we felt a good Schnitzel is a must have after a party weekend. And we were absolutely not disappointed. The schnitzel was just perfect and the warm potato salad with cucumber and truffles was a poem. Highly recommend this place.
