Turning 65 isn't the problem. Its trying to find guidance through he medicare maze. Months b4 I turned 65 i attended a webinar run by BIG. Some of the information mentioned i wasn't aware of. Had to reach out to my employer to discuss what I had learned. And glad I did otherwise I would have been in big trouble with medicare premiums not to mention additional surcharges. After I got through medicare registration having applied 1st calendar day 3 months prior to my birthday, I was ready to discuss medicare options. Thanks to the help from Danielle and Donna, a situation that could have had a negative outcome was handled quickly and professionally. Medicare plans can be somewhat problematic. I can't thank them enough.
