The Capital Grille

I had tofu; this is the third time I had this. Let me tell all the vegetarians WHAT A DELIGHT this is. Once a month I come to have the tofu and it seems a new recipe has come this month. While last month it seemed lightly braised and black pepper blackened this month it’s cutlets with a love sauce that (I’m not a foodie forgive me) maybe was hoisin or Worcestershire and or a balsamic reduction- whatever this was it was umami tasty lovely yummy and scrumptious. Capital Grill is always my first choice I do a lot of entertaining. Last night, I took people to the NY location on 51 Street. We waited45 minutes for a salad to come out and had previously let our waiter know if a tight time constraint for our client to leave. The waiter although polite, kept giving us the yes we are busy. Financially, I found the GM Melissa who was absolutely lovely and was well aware of the volume of business I provide them. She went out of her way to provide a free bottle of wine and apologize multiple times. great food and great service. the cold seafood plate and the steaks were excellent! I mentioned that it was our jubilee, and everyone who came to the table wanted us a happy jubilee. they brought us a supplementary dessert.

I know they're not always perfect. but who is? but what I know is that if the food they do here is good, it's just delicious. they love the taste and love the people in the capital grille.
