We ordered Mongolian Beef and got Curry Beef with onions. It was ultra hot. This is not real Mongolian Beef and when I called the restaurant they argued with me. I've been eating Mongolian beef for over fifty years from China Town in New York to San Francisco and it has never been prepared in this manner. I suggested the restaurant point out on their menu that they are using curry and the manager again starting arguing with me. A very bad experience with food that my family could not eat and a very bad experience with the management.
I found the food to be quite delightful. I began with the dumplings and then had the General Tso's chicken along with lo mein. However, I'm rating my experience lower primarily because of the service. After taking our order, our server didn’t return until it was time to bring the check, which we had to signal her for. We even had to ask another server for water. I really wish my visit to Peter Chang's had been better. I sincerely hope they can address these issues to improve the overall experience.
I used to really enjoy this restaurant; the food was delicious and authentic. Unfortunately, I've noticed a steady decline in quality lately. Each visit leaves me more disappointed than the last. The freshness of the ingredients has deteriorated, and there are times when they even forget to add salt. I used to order a few dishes regularly, but now they taste like they've been prepared by completely different cooks—I've even managed to make better versions at home. It's a real letdown.
I went to this restaurant with a colleague, and I have to say it was fantastic. Both the service and the food were outstanding. While I can’t remember the exact name of the vegetarian dish my colleague chose, he really enjoyed it. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and a spring roll, and they were both delicious. Our server, John (or Jon—I’m not sure of the spelling), was incredible. He was friendly and very attentive. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town.

The food was fantastic, but the service was disappointing, particularly after 6 PM. I can't believe how rude the servers were during my dinner with a friend. If you’d prefer that customers not arrive around 7, it would be better to communicate that rather than being disrespectful. Additionally, they often add a 20% tip to the bill before we even have a chance to tip ourselves, which is quite off-putting.
I found a bug—possibly a cockroach—inside my takeout order from Peter Chang. The worst part was that it was hidden inside a vegetable dumpling. I took a bite, noticed something crunchy, and spat it out, only to discover it was a half-eaten bug! This was by far the most disturbing dining experience I've ever had. Now I'm worried that bugs might have come home with me in the containers.
Peter Chang is a true breath of fresh air! You have to experience it for yourself. We eat here or get takeout at least twice a month and have been devoted customers for over a year. We've tried many dishes and enjoyed every single one. The spicy dishes deliver a serious kick, but they’re absolutely worth it!
This is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in Stamford. the bamboo fish is a must try and everything always comes out hot fresh and flavorful. The only thing is they took away the best noodles ever called grandma noodles. I hope they bring them back !Parking: Parking right in mall parking lot

Love this place! The menu is fairly large and has a great variety. The food is also great and more authentic than some of the other Chinese restaurants in the area.They also have a great happy hour.
Every time we go here, we are satisfied and clutching our tummies. The flavors are spot on and service is great.Food: 5/5
