The Capital Grille Chicago- Rosemont

my friend and i came from Alaska to chcago for a hair show and decided to go to The Capitol Grille for dinner, our waitress was Francesca and she was great, gave us excellent advise on dinner options , the french onion soup was the best and I get mine without onion, we also got the chicken and risotto which was very good the sauce was a bit too salty for me) I ordered the stoli doli cocktail which is, pineapple infused vodka and it was AMAZING the cheesecake was the best we have ever eaten and it was so fluffy and the brulee on top was a superb added touch needless to say, we went back again before we left Chicago, and had the best brussel sprouts, calamari, stoli doli and of course the chee...

The service was terrible. The server forgot food, did not come by to check on us to refill drinks or check on us at all. She brought out a birthday dessert for one person without asking anyone else if they'd like dessert. Water glasses were left empty. The food was not great the salmon that was forgotten and brought after everyone else finished their food was clearly a quick fix. My husband's medium rare steak was so rare it was not cooked at all in the center. When we had an ok experiemce the first time we went to this Capital Grille, we thought we'd try it again. We will not be back to this restaurant.

We always ask for Giovanni to be our server, but we were told that he’s on vacation in Peru (good for him! . Stephanie was our server and she was AMAZING! Giovanni had put notes in the computer system on what we like and Stephanie relayed that to us. We were so impressed!! My husband and I are both in the service industry (he’s a server at Sophia Steak in Wilmette and I’m a hairstylist . We appreciate all that you guys do for us! Thank you, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff for a great experience!

I have dined at other Capitol Grill locations in the past, and this particular experience did not meet the same standards. The food was good but not outstanding, and the prices did not reflect the value. However, the service was better than average. Reserva una mesa ahora

Mark was an excellent server, very attentive. The meal was delicious, but the only issue was that after dinner we usually like to have a cappuccino, but were told that the machine was broken. This was quite disappointing.

As usual the capital Grill does not disappoint. The reason we go there is we know we will have a very nice meal with no surprises. Thanks again on a very nice evening.

They over cooked all four steaks. There’s no recovering from that. We politely pointed out how dry they were, but nothing was offered to resolve the issue.

Everything was perfect. Steak cooked to perfection and the Stoli Dolis were spot on
