The Capital Grille Tampa

Not our favorite Capital Grille experience. This was our first at this location and we will probably not be returning. We were told of a special of a Wagyu NY Strip and lobster tail for and ordered it. Steak was originally undercooked, but was remedied, but the steak itself was not good. Full of fat and chewy. When our bill arrived we were told that the lobster tail was extra. We were never told that and I would never have ordered a steak for I know it is a more expensive place, but for any steak is not anything I would ever consider. When I questioned it I was told that he was sorry I did not understand that the lobster was not included, but that was the price. I paid, but will never return

The capital grill in Naples is where we first met., almost years ago. The food and service is always outstanding. I also enjoy its quiet elegance, but I was a bit disappointed in that I had been saving “open table” points and looked forward to using them at the Capital Grill, but my plus points were not applied to our check. Would appreciate help in getting this credit. Thanks for a great meal. at the Capital Grill in Tampa

Well, I've been going to this place for many years and it just seems better and better. Best Clam Chowder ever! Service excellent. I requested a special type table that perfectly meets my expectations. Thanks for a great lunch!! Dr. T
