The Caribbean Dutchpot

This small, unpretentious restaurant only has a few tables and the decor is mostly travel posters, but the reason to visit is the food. The Roti dishes and the jerk chicken are very good and have a genuine Caribbean flavour. The service is cheerful. Drink choices are limited to water, juices, and soft drinks (including Ting). All in all, worth a visit.

I don't think the average cost for two people is $25, it's actually closer to $15. The service is great, the goat meat is excellent, and I was informed that the restaurant is under new management for about 7-8 months now. It appears to be doing well, although renovations are currently underway. Otherwise, I believe it would have had a nice atmosphere.

I miss experiencing true cuisine of the Caribbean. I found the Caribbean Dutchpot to be a nice change from the usual island fare found in major cities.The atmosphere was very unassuming but seemingly clean, the server was efficient but not overly engaging, and the food quality was very good and priced accordingly. I will go back for a quick bite:)

I love the delicious Caribbean food at this restaurant! As someone who works nearby, I always enjoy my meals here. If you are in the Danforth and Broadview area, I highly recommend checking it out!

I love this place. Great big roti's at a decent price. The jerk chicken is some of the best I have had including Jamaica. If you are looking for caribbean takeout this is the place.

I had waltzed into the Dutchpot earlier this week after having passed it dozens of times on the streetcar and I was pleasantly surprised.

Well I haven't been here in a whileIt took almost 20 minutes to get my boneless (which had a couple small bones in it) chicken roti.

This place is a full winner. Large selection of delicious lunch specialities. Very pleasant service. Tables if you want to eat.

Very pleasant place with delicious Roti (I had the Ruck Chicken redi). Super friendly service too. Definitely worth a visit.
