The Castle Inn, Caldicot

We had a meal on a Tuesday night the bar was busy with walkers and dog owners. The atmosphere was Lovely and the staff exceptionally friendly and approachable. The food double burger) was generous and tasty so generous it hardly fits in...its basket', loos were clean and well equipped COVID rules in place too, Prices were very reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed Watching the squirrels play in the large grassed area was a bonus. Fantastic pub in a beautiful setting by the castle. Great food, great choice of drinks including some delicious cocktails and fantastic staff. Meghan behind the bar always greets you with a smile and Matt the landlord puts on a great nights entertainment! I never realised...how much I loved Olly Murs!!! Thanks for having us, can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I visited the Castle Inn and really enjoyed the experience of sitting next to a roaring wood fire. The food was excellent and well within two pensioners budgets. Well done The Castle Inn, Caldicot.

I visited today with several members of my family. The staff were friendly the food was excellent (especially the chicken strips and chips It was lovely to have a plastic straw with our gins

First visit in a year and the food is still well up on standard. Very busy but welcomed and fast service. Fantastic food and definatly value for money. Will be back again soon

Absolutely stunning carvery, the meat was cooked to perfection! Lots of vegetables to choose from, huge crispy roasties and the gravy was delicious. Highly recommend.

Foods was OK. Usual pub grub. Atmosphere nice, but children in the pub after hours is not great as there is nothing for them to do.

Lovely atmosphere, food and service was fantastic. Dog friendly too which was great. Masks and social distancing in placs.

Staff lovely well served drinks food awful very disappointed as we came over from Bristol will not be going back
