My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the patio. When we arrived all the seats by the water were taken so we took a table on the 2nd tier of the patio and enjoyed a Purple Daze cocktail which was absolutely delicious! Then a table became available on the lower level along the railing by the water and the serving staff kindly let us move. I had the fish and chips which were delicious and my friend had the apple cheese soup and turkey wrap which she said was also delicious. The service was prompt and friendly and it was so relaxing enjoying such a nice drink and meal by the water. I would highly recommend this spot if you are in the Elora area. My Husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose the Cellar and Pub due to the great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a attentive hostess and seated right away. I would highly recommend making reservations as this restaurant is very popular and smaller in size. The server we had was so excellent and accommodated us as soon as we sat down. She was so knowledgeable and recommended different wines to pair with our food. Sometimes you have to look beyond first impressions. Last year, we were unable to secure a table at this restaurant, but this year our reservation was unnecessary. The town was much quieter and the staff mentioned that fewer people were around compared to previous years. The outdoor patio by the river was not particularly impressive, with uncomfortable steel chairs, uneven tables, and a stagnant river. However, the food was the highlight of our experience. We enjoyed the mushroom crostini and the peppercorn chicken wrap, both of which were delicious. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
We live in Elora.. and had not been to this Restaurant for some time.. so it was a last minute decision... no reservation, we just walked in. Because of the beautiful weather the outdoor patio was busy.... but we got a nice table. Menu is small, but very interesting, very reasonably priced... Service was very good, very attentive. The Calamari app a great sized porrtion, tasty... and then I had all you can eat Mussels 3 different style. I will start saying that the overall experience from past visits, was much, much better. Staff was very nice and polite, kept our reservation without any delay, service was ok, nothing major. Food on the other hand was way below any expectations. The worst, hamburger and Chicken wrap. Meat was just overcooked, dry like a bone with no flavour, burger patty was burnt. I will not be coming back for some time, that is for sure.
Went to Elora for a day trip, and got a prime outdoor patio seat with gorgeous views of the water. service however was abysmal - very slow and clearly understaffed. food was average, drinks were cold, and waterside views were the main draw. Recommend walking up the road a bit to Elora Brewery instead.
We had a delicious lunch consisting of Pad Thai and fish and chips along with some wine. Our meals were delicious and the service good. Our table was on the upper deck but any table on their large waterside deck would be wonderful. A relaxing, pretty spot for lunch or dinner by the river!
We had a reservation at 5:30. We were brought to our table on the patio promptly. Service was great. We ordered pesto chicken Alfredo and pad thai. Both dishes were excellent and the food came out very quickly. Great atmosphere on the patio. Will definitely be back. Reserva una mesa ahora
