This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I heard that it has recently changed ownership. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was delicious - fluffy on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. The staff was very welcoming, and it was clear that they knew the regular customers well. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area again.
In recent weeks I have visited three fish and chip shops in the area looks like I saved the best until the last the batter was light crispy and tasty no sign of sogginess here the haddock was fresh white meaty and tasty chips nicely cooked no grease they do a small portion of fish and chips £3.10 to eat in or takeaway highly recommend thank you everyone
The staff were friendly and talkative. The fish and chips were the best I've had in a long time - not greasy and a good portion size. It was nice to have plenty of space inside, especially since it was raining outside. Good luck to the restaurant.

Best fish and chips you will ever eat in Yorkshire and believe me I have eaten fish and chips all over Yorkshire so very well done to the owner (Steve)
