Everything was perfect the food and the staff were excellent.It was our first visit and well worth the one hours journey by car to get there. We spent the rest of the day in Ludlow and the weather was dry and sunny after the storms of the day before.
Nice meal and lovely staff. Food was very rich/filling and would have liked some lighter options. The restaurant is very nicely decorated but feels a little clinical rather than cosy.
I spent two nights there with breakfast and evening meal on both days. The food and service were excellent with generous portion sizes. Lovely surroundings by the river, will return

I found the Charlton arms in the Michelin guide. Don’t think it should be there. Starter was ok my roast dinner was not up to much. The beef was tough and the veg was basic
A lovely waitress called Jules attended us. She was polite, efficient and cheerful. Food was lovely, we have been many times and we always enjoy the food.

Lovely meal but I did miss having some greens on my plate. We were served only root vegetables, swead, turnips and potatoes
