Instead of writing a review, I initially thought it would be more appropriate to call and share some feedback with the chef and host about my Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. However, after speaking with Matt, I felt it was important to share my experience more widely online. I believe this restaurant has many positive dishes, but there are a few things to consider before ordering the Eggs Benedict. First, be aware that they boil their eggs instead of frying them. Secondly, as Matt mentioned, the history of Eggs Benedict involves placing the biscuit or bread underneath the protein, which is true. However, be sure to specifically request that you’d like the bread for the jelly you ordered....

I'm currently on a tour of 50 restaurants across Nassau, Suffolk County, NYC, and Massachusetts, and I've reached restaurant number 42. The name "Chef's Corner" brings to mind images of an upscale, Michelin-star restaurant. However, upon entering, I quickly realized that my expectations were misguided. This place was far from that. The exterior lacks curb appeal, and the decor and ambiance are quite drab, reminiscent of a hospital cafeteria. If I hadn't been determined to try this restaurant, I would have likely passed it by. To my surprise, though, I ended up having a delightful experience. Parking is both affordable and accessible. The waitstaff were polite and accommodating, especially...

I'm currently on a tour of 50 restaurants across Nassau, Suffolk County, NYC, and Massachusetts, and I've just visited restaurant number 42. The name "Chef's Corner" suggests an upscale, Michelin-star experience, but I quickly realized I was mistaken. I probably need to get out more because this place is nothing like that. The exterior offers little charm, and the decor and ambiance are quite drab, resembling a hospital cafeteria. If I hadn’t been determined to try it, I likely would have overlooked it completely. However, I must admit it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Parking was affordable and easy to find. The staff was polite and accommodating, though sitting by the door on a col...

I enjoy visiting this spot for a lovely brunch in the morning. I've tried the shrimp omelet, pancakes, French toast, and eggplant dishes, and everything has been fantastic. Their food is exceptional, and even the side items like bacon, muffins, and jams are far from the typical commercial offerings. The staff is incredibly friendly. I shared photos of the food with my friends and highly recommended this place! Thank you! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was quite disappointing. The chicken was served mixed in with the Caesar salad on the same plate, creating a soggy mess with dressing all over. To make things worse, the club sandwich we ordered was supposed to come with extra avocado, which we paid for, but it was missing. Overall, I'm giving this a thumbs down!

The food was quite disappointing. The chicken wrap was placed on the same plate as the Caesar salad, which made it soggy and drenched in dressing. Furthermore, the club sandwich we ordered was missing the extra avocado we had paid for. Overall, I'm giving this a big thumbs down!

It’s often mentioned that "A good breakfast fuels you up and prepares you for the day." However, I believe it also depends on how it's served to you. We had a fantastic experience here with exceptionally great hospitality. It's a place you must visit at least once! Reserva una mesa ahora

It was strange that they only accept cash on weekends. We were the only customers there, but the staff wasn't very attentive. However, the food was quite good.
