We went on a Thursday at 4:30 PM and there was only a couple of tables left. Not our first visit but our first review. It felt a little like the sitcom Cheers...Comfortable/friendly. A few TV's with different games on, enjoyable music, a nice healthy hum of laughter and stories being shared. Pesto fries and pastrami egg rolls to start, both were delish. Hubby had the steak, which I thought was a bit small but by the time you eat everything on your plate plus the appetizers, it's filling enough. I judge a restaurant by its French dip. I will admit, I was skeptical about the food at first.. if there's any advice I would give about coming here run! Don't walk. The food was spectacular. I was impressed from the first bite. The peso fries came out first. And this is a definite must have. Fries were crispy, and doused in a pesto seasoning topped with cheese. Who doesn't love cheese?! Literally licked my fingers as to no waste the flavor by wiping it on a napkin. The risotto was also made very well. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. Heck ya, this place was outstanding! My family and I arrived about 2pm on a Saturday and all went very well. We were greeted and then seated immediately. We ordered the egg roll appetizer and then the burgers with fig jam, they tasted excellent! We finished our meal off with the apple turnover bread pudding and again, it tasted great! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend Chefs Table.

A delicious meal again. The polenta was hot and fresh and green beans perfectly seasoned with garlic. Healthy portion of the short rib (double Portion). Also Tried the fries and Rueben appetizers which were both good. The cheese on the fries is torched to melt. Recommendations: expand the menu to seasonal dishes and add new desserts. Holy ****. I didn't expect a ton being in a strip mall in Rocklin, no offense. But no lie, I'm a scallops conossieuer and I had the best scallops of my life at this spot. And good drinks, great service, solid dishes on everything else. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love The Chef's Table! Fine dining at a super cool low key setting. Staff is always amazing, the food is fabulous, just a all around great dining experience!

Food here is excellent! Sometimes there is a long wait because of its stellar reputation, so plan in advance, make reservations, or just give it a shot. It's worth it!

This place does not disappoint! I had the short ribs and my mom had pumpkin risotto. Both were amazing!!
