Located in the west end of downtown Calgary (just down the street from the Ramada Hotel) this unassuming looking little restaurant is not what you could call glamorous but it's absolutely worth the walk. I work right across the street so it's a monthly trip for me. The falafel is my personal favorite but I've also had the beef donair and the chicken shawarma - all excellent. I've never tried the sald options but I do see a lot of people ordering those as well. I highly recommend getting there well before noon or a little after one o'clock because the line up can sometimes extend out the door onto 8th Avenue.
My coworker and I were looking for a quick bite to eat near the office and this place popped up on Yelp. We both LOVE Mediterranean food, so we had to give it a try. The food was fresh and the service quick. I had the Chicken Schwarma wrap and it was delicious. Orders are taken at a counter, so everything can be customized and you can watch them shave the beef or chicken for your meal. Get there early (before noon) to avoid a long line, even though the line moves very quickly. Overall, great lunch spot if you want a quick, fresh bite.
Pretty decent shawarma as far as the nearby area is concerned. Nothing too special, donair sauce was pretty good but meats were lacking some flavour and charring.
Great food. Great and speedy service. Fresh ingredients, good value. The meat tasted amazing and the Donair had a good portion of beef in it.

In my opinion it's the best donair/shawarma place in Calgary. I haven't tried them all, but this one is top notch and the people are great.
I have ordered lunch from this restaurant multiple times, and the quality and taste of the food is always consistent.
Delicious food and big portions. I eat here twice a month and it never disappoints.
