I got a half chicken meal with yuca. Really tasty chicken! Moist and tender and the perfect amount of seasoning. The skin is especially delicious. The yuca needed salt but were crispy and golden.The meal came with a small side salad which I really appreciated but the greens were turning brown so I didn’t end up eating it. My most major complaint is the yellow sauce; it’s not aji amarillo like other Peruvian restaurants serve rather it’s more like a creamy “yum yum” sauce you might find in a teriyaki restaurant. Delicious food. Very casual. Fast service and kind staff. I prefer take out to dine in but its fine for either as its a quick in and out. The roasted chicken on the bone was the best bite of chicken I have had in the area! Lots of good options for chicken in this neighborhood but we prefer this one. One heads up, the shredded chicken sandwich needs the sauce, it's a bit dry without. The sauce is delicious, though, and lifts the whole plate. Yum!
The Chicken Place is the best spot in the DMV for delicious chicken. I can confidently say that Jose and the entire team are a pleasure to interact with. I order from here 2-3 times a week for my group because we can't get enough of their chicken. If you grew up in the area and have been coming here for over 20 years, you'll understand why it's so special. It just keeps getting better. Thank you to everyone at The Chicken Place!
I go here very frequently and the chicken is pretty consistent. Honestly the best priced Rotisserie chicken they don’t charge extra for dark meatI would avoid 2-3pm slot when picking up food here…That’s the leftover chicken from the lunch rush I’ve been noticing I told you I go here a lot?)Note: Went yesterday and I believe they just changed their white sauce. They are very fast in preparing the food. The food is always delicious. You have to pick up your order from the counter after they call your number. You have to clean up after eating. There are bathroom in the premises.Parking: Parking is limited in front of the store but can find more around the complex. Just be careful not to park in designated Dennys parking
I was really disappointed with this place. Chicken was super dry and chewy. The white sauce was flavorless. The yuca was great! But that's it. It was kinda busy but the service was slow and the interior was grimmy. There are so many amazing Peruvian chicken places in Arlington. This is not one of them. Do not recommend.Food: 3/5
My favorite lunch place when I worked in the area several years ago. Had to stop back in when I happened to be back in the area. The prices have gone up (to be expected), but the food and service are still top notch. And portions are still very generous. Food: 4/5
I absolutely love this chicken restaurant. I've been a loyal customer for years and it never disappoints. The chicken is mouthwatering and the fries and rice are also excellent. I would give it a perfect 5 out of 5 for the food quality.

The Quarter Dark Meat Double Rice was excellent. The chicken was tender and moist. I will definitely return to this restaurant. Rating: 4 out of 5 for the food.
