The Clove - Reserva de mesa

I visited this restaurant with friends for a “catch up” meal. Firstly, some of the last reviews say it’s the best Indian in Swanley however that isn’t hard to win as this restaurant is probably the only one now considering the others have closed down/knocked down so that wouldn’t be accurate to comment on. We arrived at our booked table at 7pm. The restaurant was busy with people also coming and going a lot to collect takeaways, however that wasn’t too much of an issue. I found the restaurant was very smart with how they operate. An example being is how long it takes for the staff to take your order and also the time is takes for the food to arrive. Not sure about the man on TripAdvisor that complains he wasn’t given a solo table. I just had a lovely meal in there on my own and have booked for table of 2 for next Monday night . The restaurant were very accommodating. The waiter was exceptionally kind and friendly and chatty. The food was very good, nicely laid out and tasty too. All drinks and food came out very promptly and within a reasonable time. The reshmi kebab was very nice too. Some customers just too fussy and want too much from a small business. If there was anything to complain about trust me I would be the first to do that. Will be back next week for a nice quiet evening in this cosy restaurant. VERY GOOD RESTAURANT

Arrived at 7pm and allocated a table very close to the counter where people were in and out all night collecting takeaways. The meal did not arrive on the table until gone 8.30pm and despite the interminable wait the food was OK. The real problem was that the staff were more interested in organising the takeaway aspect of the business so it seemed. It was noisy and cramped and no attention paid to distancing with regard to Covid none of the staff wearing masks. Will not go there again.

Met with a group of friends. Very courteous staff and friendly. Food excellent and although we were the only table to begin with, there wasn't a spare chair in the place by the end of the evening it was packed! Would go again definitely and highly recommend this restaurant- the after curry mints are wonderful Reserva una mesa ahora

This has got to be the best Indian restaurant in Swanley! We have never had a meal that is less than delicious. Even my fussy neighbour is now hooked! This time it was a takeaway on our way home Chicken Korma, Tandoori mixed grill, Bombay potatoes, pilau rice and pesharmi naan Slurp, slurp!

We love our Indian and within Swanley, we must say the clove is the best. Fresh spices and cooked to perfection. I would recommend the dhansak which is truly my favorite and no one can cook it better than the clove!

Fantastic food every time. Glad I found it. My friends been coming here for years. Now I know why. Very unassuming but the quality of food is seriously good. Staff are superb. Nothing is too much for them.

Wanted a table for just me as i am a solo traveler and they just laughed and said no way but you can have a takeaway if you want. I said i’ll take my money elsewhere Reserva una mesa ahora

Went their for my birthday as a surprise meal and was very enjoyable! Staff were very polite and friendly and food was delicious
