Lovely venue, clean and well presented. Super friendly and attentive staff. We were met and shown to our table by Mary I believe. Food was hot, well presented and good sized portions. And delicious. The young gentleman who served us was super polite and very pleasant, I believe his name was Brookton, he did a superb job the whole time we were there. This was a Christmas business lunch where we had all travelled a long way and met half way in Banbury, it was well worth the trip.
we had a late lunch in the week after the new year so was very quiet. eating was very good overall, we had drowned and ham soup (delict fish and chips and rump steak. the steak was rarely cooked, as desired, but had more sinful than normal. Hopefully chef will refer this to the supplier there was a group with learning difficulties with drinks, and I noticed that they are treated with respect and ease :
I met some friends here for pre christmas food and drink. The food was great rhe service attentive and the atmosphere really good. Going again with different friends this week ;o)

Good food well cooked with attentive and efficient service. We were surprised how empty it was for a Saturday lunch, but maybe it was a bit hard to find
The food was excellent,as was the service.If there was a criticism the cabbage was a bit al denote for us.Overall we were well pleased.
